Students that attend Mission Heights Preparatory High School are encouraged to enroll in courses at Central Arizona College for dual credit either during the summer or during the school year in the evening.
Most classes taught at CAC will not only count for college credit that will transfer to a university after graduation, but will also count as high school credit.
Students that have signed the Promise for the Future agreement in 8th grade are eligible to take up to 35 credits for free during high school (after they have completed their Sophomore year).
Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology (CAVIT) is a public school district working in partnership with high schools where 11th and 12th grade students can begin preparing for higher wage, in-demand jobs while still attending high school.
